We had booked 2 weeks in Kalives 19th Sept - 3rd October but when i e-mailed for confirmation i cannt get a reply, we havent paid anything as they said pay when we arrive, so now i'm looking for alternative accomadation we are flying into Chania airport so any where within taxi distance would be okay we are after somewhere fairly quiet for a relaxing holiday with some good local tavernas, any help would be great
First off - don't panic! It's the silly season in Greece and, I've found, prompt responses to e-mails isn't a strong point at ANY time of the year. I would say get your taxi to Kalives (clutching your e-mail) and in the event that they HAVEN'T held your room for you, hospitality will probably dictate that they will find someone who can put you up. Even if they don't, you should be able to find accommodation on the spot.

Valeria has several properties in Kalives and the surrounding areas.Going a week Tuesday to stay at one of her properties and she is arranging taxi transfers etc.
