Thanks for your good wishes. Yes we have been to goa several times over the last 10 years but have always stayed in hotels so we thought that we'd try a villa/appartment for a change especially as there will be 4 of us. We managed to get our flights over a month ago from Qatar airways at a very good price so we now need to find accomodation. Where do you usually stay?

Welcome to the forum Helen. You could try http://www.ownersdirect.co.uk or http://www.holiday-rentals.com. Alternatively book a hotel for a couple of nights and ask while you are out there.

I advertise my apartment on one of those sites but January does seem to be busy next year.

Unfortunately I've checked out both these sites and there isn't anything suitable for our dates, so if anybody can reccomend any where else I can search I'd be very grateful.

Have a look at these, I know them, and we are looking to stay here in March. I know others who stay there and have done for a few seasons now, with no complaints.
If you know Candolim and Ruffles bar, than imagine you have come out of Ruffles, turn right, walk 50 yards and cross over the road, they are down the side away from the main road (or more or less opposite the top of Whispering Palms beach road.

Hi mccarthy,we rented a stunning appt. in feb,on a beautiful complex in Arpora,the appt.really was home from home,and the owner(Lil) was a pleasure to deal with,i cant praise this apptartment enough,i still have her details if you would like them

Still no luck on finding apartments in Baga, been told of apartments on CSM rd
near Bernards called Lucy's.Can any one help
