new UK start up - Fly EM & Prem Jet

Fly EM have announced start up plans out of Doncaster Robin Hood Airport. A single Boeing 737 (800) shall be used to begin flights next summer to Paris, Rome and the usual destinations in mainland Spain and the Islands.

Prem Jet will acquire MD-83's in a VIP configuraion for flights from Luton and Manchester to the expected destinations of Faro, Malaga, paphos and Tenerife.

There is anobvioux thoughtprocess at the moment that passengers are willing to pay a little morefor a better service and not be cattle herded on board and it will be interesting to see what the ip take is on this particular carriers aspirations.

Nice idea but it'll be interesting to see if this makes the transition from paper to air. There's been many such airlines try and get off the mark and failed.

Don't get too excited....

Who can remember Duo flying VIP only configured planes out of Birmingham? They didn't last long.

Flyforbeans announced plans to start up at Cardiff in March but still hasn't announced where they will be going to.

I have booked on Silverjet from Dubai see what they are like Buisness Class only planes and seperate toilets for ladies British company and they get goodish writeups on Skytrax.They fly into Luton this is the only slight downside.

Flyem don't look to be heading anywhere, just a paper airline.
