I have now altered my preferences to return to showing my online status and, whilst my name appears as being online in the list at the bottom of the board index page,and my name shows at the bottom of the pages under 'users browsing this forum', the red 'offline' bar below my username in my posts hasn't changed back to a green 'online 'bar.When I submitted my changed preferences, it said that they would be applied on my next visit, but I've logged out and logged back in since then and it still hasn't changed back to 'online'.
I'm very,very sorry for messing about with something that wasn't broken in the first place and realise that I've been very naughty, but could somebody please fix it for me if I promise not to mess about with things that I don't understand in future.
