Have you considered a DIY option?? There are budget airlines who fly to the Bahamas and you can book your hotel seperately. That way you can go when you want and for as long as you want.
I've never done a "DIY" holiday so that's a bit daunting. To be honest, I'm not even sure where to start on that but the savings and flexibility may make it an option to consider.
American Airlines have several flights a day from MCO to NAS for around $220 pp. return fare.
