Hello all
i am going as aparty of 5 adults to pastida (the Marietta) in August, can anyone give me any ideas of how often public transport runs and what sort of costs taxis are for example from Pastida down into Rhodes. The three 20's year old will want to go partying, we are looking for a quieter time takes photos etc.
Any information would be grately received as this is our first time visiting Rhodes and I am quite nervous about it.

There are regular buses that run between Pastida and Rhodes Town though not as frequent as those at nearby coastal villages (such as Kremasti). Sorry i can't be any more specific but the family at Marietta are really friendly so they'll be able to give you an idea of bus times once you're there.
I'd expect to pay around 14-15 euros to Rhodes Town and as Pastida is close to the main road for Faliraki the 20 year olds could take a trip over there for a similar cost.
