Can anyone please recommend to me a beautiful quiet traditional part of Portugal with a lovely sandy beach and a handful of restaurants and NO discos. Thanks

THIS is Salema beach on the western Algarve;the village retains its authenticity and,to the best of my knowledge,there is no disco there.

Cabanas, east of Tavira.........NO discos and lovely restaurants and a beautiful beach that goes on for miles ( you get a little boat across the river to it (1Euro return)

The good thing about it is and I have just come back after 2 weeks it is soo blue during the day.
