I went 5 years ago this Feb. It was really good, really enjoyed it. I'd say make the most of your time there and try and do other stuff. We did a 3 day dog sled trip which was the highlight for me. Stayed in 'wilderness' cabins along the way. Really good fun.

I am interested in this hotel, does anybody have any further infomation on the hotel or some price infomation?, Whats the deal with staying warm too, do you have to just dress up in many layers?

I've not stayed in the one in Sweden, but I visted the one at Lainio snow village in Finland just before Christmas. It didn't look much from the outside, but fabulous inside:

You always imagine it being cold. It's obviously below freezing, but -5 in that part of the world doesn't feel like -5 does here. I've been colder since returning from Lappish-Finland than when I was there; and it was -2 on the warmest day an -9 on the coldest (apart from when we went to the top of Yllas Fell, it was -20!). The air is very dry so you don't feel the cold as much. As long as you have the right clothing, you'll be warm enough. I actually took layers off because I was too warm! You'll acclimatise after a couple of days. The reindeer skins over the beds are very warm. Sleeping bags are normally provided. The hardest bit is getting out of bed, the floors are litterally sheet ice and standing up can be a problem!!

There's loads of info on the Swedish Ice Hotel on their website.
