To bring this back to Supermarkets in Puerto Pollensa, as mentioned above the largest one was called Caprabo & is now Eroski. There is another Eroski on the main road leading out from the Marina, near the sea end on the right hand side. Locals tend to go to the Hiper supermarket so I should think that is cheaper. We have used our local Spar when necessary but it is often much more expensive.

There is some info on the shops at http://www.puertopollensa.com/shops.html

Hope that helps!

Do any of the supermarkets offer a delivery service. its hard work carrying shopping when it so hot :cry

Eroski do a delivery service. Costs three or is it five euros. Never tried it and don't know if they extend this offer to visitors as opposed to local residents only. See no reason why they shouldn't.

Oh that's interesting...
would they deliver to a hotel?....... and would the hotel let them?.... as it implies we're not using the hotel bar? :shush

Hi,

Can anyone tell me if we can buy nappies, baby wipes & swimming nappies at the big supermarkets in Puerto Pollensa?

Thanks very much.

Hi there. You can definitely buy nappies & baby wipes but I'm not sure about swim nappies. There is also a 'British Shop' that sells products so they may know. See http://www.puertopollensa.com/shops.html You could also try the 'kids' forum at http://www.forum.puertopollensa.com/children/

Hope you get some answers - you'll love the resort!

There are two Euroski supermarkets, one by the roundabout on the road to the old town, and one on the same road 3km away. Both have reasonable prices in Mallorcan terms, but the further one is definately a bit cheaper despite being part of the same chain!

The EROSKI on the way out toward Old Pollensa has a Lidl Opposite, you are more than likely to go in both the selection is nealy ident to the uk and cheaper than uk subject to the exchange. Puerta Pollensa fantastic
