may sound stupid but how do you send private messages,only ever recieved them before ????
Just press the "pm" button in the post of the member you wish to send a private message to.

to reply to a PM you have received click the REPLY button and type your answer then press send

no PM stands for PRIVATE MESSAGE it is as secure as an e-mail even admin/mods cannot vet them if however the pm privilege is abused ( for example sending inappropriate or libelous messages or spamming) then this privilege can be removed
