cordial mogan playa is a new hotel log on to http://www.cordialcanarias.com got pics there and you can book direct there and find your own flights, have only been there on a day trip there are bars and resturants, but I think it would be to quiet to stay there for me. Also try http://www.findrooms.com and http://www.lowcostbeds.com and http://www.travelrepublic.co.uk and http://www.alpaharooms.com

Puerto Mogan is an excellent choice, such a great setting - and if you just want the steady resort that is pleasent with great bars and restaurants then it's the one for you.
On booking for G.C I did find however it was just out of my price range, but maybe in time to come we would enjoy one or two weeks there.
Can't help with accomodation but hope you get sorted.

It is a quiet resort but not dead, I spent a week in a nearby resort in November and went into PM on at least three evenings and there was a good choice of restaurants and cafes along the harbour and in the town that we were able to sit and have a drink in.
It is a lovely resort. If I return to Gran Canaria I certainly will choose to stay there.

My favourite place in the whole of GC... we always stay at Taurito on our visits to GC but i am so in love with Mogan we tried to look for property there for a holiday home..
Very tranquil setting and there are plenty of restaurants and bars to choose from and it is not full of lager louts.....

We love Mogan ,stayed there in September and just booked for 2 weeks in Dec/Jan over the new year. We are staying at the new Cordial apartments just being finished.
As far as accomodation it all depends what you are looking for Apartment hotel or a private let .There are loads of them.
We stayed in a private let in September and it was a lovely place the only problem was some building going on right opposite.

Just returned from 2 weeks in PM,stayed at Club DE Mar in the harbour.A bit expensive but well worth it.Good staff nice rooms and a great setting for the pool.Best breakfast the Le Maree (english bar) also do a fab sunday lunch.Recommend the Zoo bar for evenings fun with the owners Tim and Renzo. They have started karaoke with a guest DJ (TUX) from scotland really good night! PS and he wears a kilt.
Great resteraunts and bars everyone really friendly. We are going back for the fourth visit in September this year.
