velvet, I have never stayed in S'illot but have done so many times in Sa Coma which is just up the road or the promenade if you walk. IMO the best hotels are in Sa Coma, the Protur group you can book direct. S'illot is very very nice though and we have eaten there, been on the beach and fished in the lagoon. Sorry can't help with any hotel names to book direct however there is a website, I think http://www.visitsacoma.co.uk (perhaps the mod's will correct me if I am wrong) and am sure if you visit the site and e:mail them, they will point you in the right direction. They are Sa Comaholics and I think the lady who runs the sites parents live over there permenantley. Good luck and have a lovely holiday.

hi we stayed in s'iiliot in july 2005 and stayed at the playa moreia , http://www.playmoriea.com which you can book directly with for a studio, 1 and 2 bed roomed apartments. if you do, ask for a 7th floor apartment, great view on the sea view side. beach is great, bikes for hire, pedalos, all the usual shops, childrens play area etc etc. lovely family friendly resort, this is not alcudia or benidorm!! we had a lovely time and would go again for a nice week/2 weeks away.
