Having finally sorted some holiday time from work, I have the chance for a nice break at the start of October. I like it fairly quiet, but not dead, and am wondering which resort out of these two would be the best bet for the start of October?

Having been to son bou before and loving it, I'm aware of locations and such, but in late september there, everything was beginning to shut down. would there be enough open in either resort to be self sufficient for just a nice break, supermarkets, and restaurants open ?
