Hi, it probably sets about the same time as UK but always seems odd to me as I associate hot weather with long nights.. Was in Sharm at end of October 2004 and the weather was gorgeous.

hey, as egypt is quite a bit further south, they don't have such long days as we do in summertime. You will probably find it sets around 5 or 6, depending on when the clocks change. It still stays fairly warm though after the sun has gone.

Yes its about 5pm. We go every october for half term, and its still lovely and warm after sun set.

The sun set is early and fast as with all near equatorial spots

the best place to watch it is El Fanar bar before stuffing yourself silly with Pasta
