Just to keep you all up to date, I have received a letter of apology from Thomson worldwide with a cheque for nearly £500, which by my calculations is about 75% of two single premium economy fares... I am happy with this result...

we got our extra legroom seats on thr return at no extra cost, well done to VA for that!

Thanks for the update merseygull. It's great when folk come on and tell us of a positive outcome, many of us follow this forum and are often left wondering how it all ended.

It's good for you and it also encourages others not to give up if they know there are success stories out there. :D
