No I don't think you are being tight a judy. I think for a 4star hotel to charge you to put your own items in the fridge is outrageous. We stayed there a couple of years back and I think it was about 3pounds a day then. Also, you aren't allowed to consume drinks around the pool area that you purchased in the supermarket up the road. You wouldn't mind so much if they had an on site shop but they haven't

didnt know about the drinks either what is the worse they can do if you are caught with a drink from the supermarket round the pool surely they cant throw you out or could they its a bit like been a naughty school child having a sneaky cig
