There was a thread ages ago and someone was asking how to turn off the wi fi. There's a switch somewhere on the PSP that needs to be either up or down. I'd have thought that if you could show cabin staff that the wi fi is off then they'd allow you to use it.

Similar sort of rule is Aer Lingus who say that you can't use a mini disc recorder on their planes. I have a mini disc recorder but was only using it to play mini discs. Not a problem. That was before I got MP3 player (was in DH's hand luggage for my Christmas present).

Does this apply to Nintendo DS? We also have a long flight with TCD, and my 2 children want to take their Nintendo's with them to occupy them (and me!)

Yes I know how to turn it off, but do TCD???

If all fails I'll ring them. Was just interested if someone has used one on their or XLs flights to Florida. I used mine on a Monarch flight to Tenerife with no squirms from the crew.
