We're visiting Thailand, arriving on 16th Sept. On our last visit we simply picked up thr tourist visa on arrival from the UK at Bangkok airport. I just had a look at the official Thai Gov website and dont see the UK as one of the listed countries granted this service. We're onty there for 12 nights. All advice on this would be appreciated

You fall under the Visa Exemption rule which means you can stay for up to 30 days without a visa if entering Thailand. Its different to the Visa on Arrival which is available to citizens of some other countries see http://www.thaiembassy.com/thailand/changes-visa-exempt.php
