I think this is referred to as Playas de Palma. Includes C'an Pastilla, El Arenal and Cala Blava.

Are these places 'nice' places.

I dont want a magaluf experience, I am looking for more relaxed days and quiet nights with a nice meal and perhaps a stroll.

Arenal and Playa de Palma attracts a lot of German visitors. C'an Pastilla is more English it must be about 18 years since I was there so all might be changed. On the plus side close to the airport. These days I prefer the east coast even if its a hour transfer.CBG

steer clear of Arenal ,its a German 18 to 30 place in the summer

can pastilla is a lot quieter although very busy at the height of summer ,just come back from there ,had a weekend away ,stopped on the front near the harbour ,hardly anyone about ,very nice weekend it was as well
