considering the canaries for march 11 for our 10th annivarsary which will be the busiest place tenerife, gran canaria, lanzarote. not really considering fuerteventura went there last august and it was very quiet and expensive, so assume in march it will be dead.

Personally depending on what kind of holiday your looking for, I'd recommend PDLA Tenerife.
We've been several times at that time of year as it's the better half's birthday and also happens to be St Patrick's Day when were out there, had some great nights out.
Weather always been decent head to the Av de las Americas area of PDLA some great hotels on that corner and plenty going on.
Great beaches, good shops, great bars & eateries some of the best nightlife in that part of PDLA and also it's a lovely walk along to Los Christianos.
