Absolutely superb hotel, one of the best I've experienced (and in my job I travel a lot).
Such quality, a throwback to your olde worlde grandeur, yet very modern and extremely friendly and attentive, probably the finest all round group of staff I've ever encountered in one place. Nothing was too much trouble and without going into too much detail in a brief review, they went above and beyond the call of duty. The manager, Eamonn, is a treasure. Comfy rooms, excellent breakfast, likewise the one evening meal we enjoyed in the restaurant on a 4-night August Bank Hol stay. The Spa and leisure facilities are amazing. Missus rated the massage her best ever (which says a lot for me) and the piece de resistance.. their own movie theatre where you can choose your own film for a private showing, complete with cocktails or champers... we went on a Marilyn Monroe-themed package and had a ball watching Some Like It Hot for the trillionth time. Very centrally located on the prom and a stroll to St Helier town centre... views of the bay from the front are stunning.. a great place for a long or short break... and no, I am not the owner... whoever that is should rejoice in an absolute gem and a credit to their staff.
