There are no beaches as such in Porec but there are rocky bathing platforms dotted around the island. These are used by nudists but they really are very discreet.

The resort of Porec is very pretty and can get very lively in the evenings but if it is nightlife you are after you may be a litte disappointed. Porec is not for party animals!

We would go back again the country is pretty, the people are friendly and when we were there it was very, very hot.

Beautiful beautiful beautiful. White/stone houses with terracotta roofs, bit like South of France but fraction of price.

Fab choice restaurants, beautiful marina, warm, sunny atmosphere. Two decent supermarkets, small amount of giftshops.

Would reccommend walks up in the hills, bike or car hire and trips over to other islands or mainland.

The Fontana Hotel in Jelsa is a relatively large 2 star resort with a total of 346 rooms. The hotel as a whole is well fairly equipped to keep all guests happy and includes a pool with bar, fitness facility and restaurant.

The Mina hotel is situated on a wooded hill which slopes to the shoreline. It has a beautiful garden and a small outdoor pool with a lovely sun terrace and is just a 500m walk to the centre of Jelsa.
