The village, at the beach reort, is very small with only about nine tavernas, all serving more than adequate meals,and there are three mini-markets and a bank. But the \"proper village\" is about 3kms up a very steep hill. There is no bus service here, so car hire is a must for sight seeing.The beach is stony, so shoes for swimming are advisable.
