My name is Sakis and I am the manager of the hotel Tropical in Hanioti Greece.
I am responding to the letter that Mr C.J.Wade wrote the other week about my resort.
I feel that these guests did not give us the opportunity to correct these things mentioned,as they did not inform the holiday rep until their last night.If we are unaware of any problems in our hotel; how can we fix them?
Encourage our guests to inform us immediately of any problems they have,so as we can attend to them promptly and the guest can then get on and enjoy their holiday with us here at the Tropical hotel.
Regarding the late karaeoke night,this was a one off event as we had international Drag Queen,Sandy Crack, entertaining our guests;which meant it over run our normal cut off time.

We enjoyed the most superb holiday at the Tropical Studios.
All the staff were superb, special thanks to George and Vicky and love to the baby. Sakis and Maria are great fun and great hosts. The hotel was clean and well kept and the pool is very well kept too.
Bar snacks at the pool are good and resonably priced, and the food at the Tropicana restaurant also managed by Sakis, is very good, plentiful, and the service is superb.
The nights in the bar lounge are great fun, Maria's a great host and again prices reasonable. Yes there can be some noise from the bar late at night, but who cares, we were there late and enjoying it anyway, and thats what holidays are all about. Karaoke? join in and have fun!!.
All in all, we recommend the hotel and the staff to all and we will definately be back in 2006. If you enjoy the sun, the service, and a few late nights, then this is for you. We are aged 46 and 44 but we really enjoyed our holiday, and certainly did not mind late nights, it makes a change to the normal weekly routine.
Thanks again to all the staff, and if anyone else was there the first two weeks of may 2005, I hope you remember us and enjoyed the holiday as much as we did. See you all at the Tropical Studios in 2006, Steve & Sue xxx

Me and my friend stayed at the Tropical Studios last July and had the most FANTASTIC time. We only expected a basic clean hotel but we got so much more - the staff, Sakis, Maria, Vicky and the lovley George went out of their way to make our holiday brilliant from the moment we got there to the minute we left.
The hotel itself is basic but extremley clean with very hard working staff who come in every day to tidy and clean up.
The pool and pool area was cleaned every day by George. The food in the poolside bar was fantastic and the overall atmosphere was generally relaxed but very fun.
Our holiday was made all the better by meeeting fab people out there but even if we hadn't we would have still had a great time.
The Tropical restaurant in the centre of Hanioti is FAB as is the Kassandra restaurant. Good places for drinks is Nik's bar just down by the hotel, Nik and his wife run the place and they are so friendly and there's not far to go after a few too many Ouzo's!
Best place for exchanging Travellers Cheques is the Beareu right next to Nik's Bar - it is very cheap (only cost 6 euro to change
