What can i say? I have been to Lido a lot and a number off hotels with more stars then this and this was was best should have more stars.
The food was excellent, not had better and the choice was fantastic there must have been 30 or more choice meals for tea and the starters were pasta- all fantastic.
The hotel was spotless. Big shower towels changed daily, the staff couldn't do enough for you. Christine was brilliant she looked after you all the time, Morris was a bit of a joker and good fun.
The location was on the main stretch and only across road to beach, I am booking again for next year. Thanks to all the staff you were great thank you,

This was our first visit to Italy and we couldn't have picked a better hotel. The breakfast was a continental buffet with cereal,toast,jam,marmalade,boiled eggs,ham, cheese,danish pastries, cakes,fruit juices,tea and coffee. For 2 Euros you can order eggs and bacon and for a little extra can add on beans,mushrooms etc. The evening meals were very good. Meal times are strictly 7pm with everyone sat down before orders are taken. You are expected to read the menu outside the dining room before dinner and to know what you want before you enter. You are given a choice of 2 pasta dishes and a soup for starter which were always excellent. The best pasta I have ever tasted. Main course was a set dish of the day but if you didn't want that then you could choose from a daily list which is always available. Dessert was also a choice of 3.
Drinks were 2.50 euro for a glass of wine, italian spritzer or prosecco and 3.90 euro for a lager.
The staff were all lovely with Brenda and her son Maurice being particularly friendly.
Our room overloked the main street which is tree lined with beautiful pine trees.It slept 3 and was adequate,clean and comfortable with a good sized balcony which we had paid extra for.

We have stayed at this hotel about 8 times. It is real gem. The staff (family owned) make us feel like close friends. We normally fly Ryanair and book direct.
The rooms are quite small, but this is typical of the resort.
Meals are great and evening meals can be swapped for lunch if you want to eat out. The service is always first class.
The beach is a few minutes walk, and the hotel owns numerous deck chairs on the own section, so no fee's involved.
At night the street is closed to traffic so walking is perfect. With small children it is an ideal resort, safe beach and lots to entertain.
The rooms are quite small, but this is typical of the resort.
