I would not hurry to get back to this hotel, rather pitch a hammock on the beach, with the jellyfish crabs and the twenty million cats and dogs.

Food at dinner and breakfast cold on nearly every day.

Room was a mare with mouldy shower curtain and sealant. Spent 1 night chasing a lizard around the room. had to pay for tea and coffee equipment, what a joke. Security was non existent.

Could open my room door by shoving a plastic card into the lock between the door and frame and not the correct slot...had to hire a car just to get to a decent shop.

The entertainment was on par with Butlins, infact U would rate Butlins better, the only thing I was impressed with was the staff, always smiling and willing to help.

Riu Hotels were recomended to us by relations who had stayed in one in the Carribean.. We were not surprised then to find this Hotel in Malta matched the expectations we had. Food excellant and plenty of it,excellent rooms, Hotel had a good spar very reasonable, shop could be better, but plenty of entertainment for kids.

A lovely pool with many sunbathing areas and pool bar, waterfall. Bars too with suberb cocktails.. very moreish... hic...

Bus route to most of the island on the doorstep. The only very slight minus is that the beach is across a busy road.. But then, Malta has so many places to visit, and Little Armier beach is only a 5 mins ride away... Also a visit to Popeye's village is just up the road..

This was our 3rd trip back to the Seabank. We love it! Its one of the best looking hotels on the island!

It's just over the road from the beach, who could ask for more.

This time we went half board, which I must admit was very nice and we will definitely be doing it again. Plenty of choice at breakfast. A sandwich bought from the pool bar for lunch and a beautiful 4 course meal for dinner!

The staff are the same as on our first visit 2 years ago, so that has to count for something. They are all very, very friendly and are always willing to help.

The rooms have just been refurbished and are very clean and of a good size. My parents were in a sea view room which was unfortunately next to the air-conditioning units. Which I may add, kept my Mum awake all night. They asked for a move and were moved by the bell boys within an hour. Thats good service to me!

The games facilities are now beginning to look a bit tired. No tips on snooker cues etc but I expect by the time we return in May, they will have hopefully been replaced.

My only down side is that on all three occasions that we have been there my youngest has had an ear infection from the swimming pool. The GP that the hotel recommended was very good and helpful.

I would really, really recommend this hotel to people who want peace and sunshine! pure heaven!

We stayed at the Seabank for 2 weeks, there was my husband myself and our three children.

We found the Seabank hotel, lovely it was always kept very clean, the chambermaids, cleaned our rooms daily and changed our towels on a daily basis.

The hotel staff were always very nice, polite and helpful, and always willing to help.

The hotel food was always very very nice, and there was plenty of buffet to choose from, my children are very fussy, but always seemed to find things to eat that they actually liked, my husband and i enjoyed the food very much, and our weight has ballooned proving that !

The only thing I would say was the entertainment was good, but it was live entertainment every evening, and maybe not for very young families, but I must say it was to a high standard.

I would return to the Seabank again, and would highly recommend it.

Hotel cleanliness was good in public areas but poor in rooms. We had a mouldy shower curtain flaky damp patches on the wall and on one occasion got no towels.

Our 10 year old grandson had to sleep on a matress on the floor. The food at breakfast was OK but it was sometimes difficult to get a table and even then you had to wait for sultry staff to clear it.

Reception staff were a bit more helpful but on departure day we had a 2335 flight home.Prior to going to Malta I had contacted the hotel to book a late check out, they assured me it would be no problem.

The day before checkout I checked to see if this was still OK only to be told that the hotel was full and we had to vacate our room by 11am as the next occupants were arriving early. They were totally uninterested in trying to reorganise their room allocation so our room went to later arrivals and the overall impression was that they had had our custom,we were on the way out and that was it.

They also put us in a room directly opposite and above the stage where some very loud cabaret acts performed until 2320.That was followed by the base thump from the disco two floors down until 3am.and to think I had paid extra for having a sea-view.In the mornings I had to drag my grandson from his doggie basket to wake him up for breakfast.

Hotel views are good apart from being adjacent to a busy road and it is a bit isolated if you want variety in the evenings regarding restaurants and entertainment.

Overall we liked Malta but would not reccommend the Seabank.

The seabank was an experience to say the least! They tried to put us in room 302 which shrank the further you went into the room and the balcony as well. needless to say we switched rooms the next day. Breakfast was not an enjoyable affair, food is bland and tasteless also extremley cramped. THe second room we moved into was larger but was not cleaned to the standard of a 4 star hotel. Never swept, cutains full of holes, the curtains didnt close (i had to sort them).
The hotel reminded me of a Ryanair flight everything was extra - tha safe, the fridge, the tv(not tuned into maltese tv which is half english)& tea making facilities.

The beds were comfy but the pillows were a brown grey colour urrggggh.

There was mould on the shower curtain and the shower head is all clogged up. Nothing was ever washed like used cups etc and my aftershave was being used but not by me or my partner.

We got an alarm call on the Monday which should of been the Wednesday at 4am.

The poolside is dirty and grubby. The sunloungers look like they have never been cleaned and i never saw a cleaner once! The bamboo parasols were hollow which was a perfect nest for the wasps and bees in Malta, we were plagued by them. I showed a member of staff a wasps hive growing out of 1 of the parasols and the response was "what would you like me to do about it".

The staff were all very young and inexperienced. Some of them shaked when a manager appeared. They clearly needed training and were not recieving any at all.

The caged birds at the reception area of the hotel looked bored and cramped in thier cages. No toys for them so all they did was make a noise whenever there was sunshine.

The stairs and lifts in the hotel NEVER got cleaned while we were there for 2 weeks, dead wasps, bees and fag ends everywhere!

Never ever go to the Seabank Hotel!!!!!!!!!!

6th time to Malta so the Island is no surprise.

On first impression of the hotel when we arrived at 10.00pm was fantastic, check in was excellent apart from the fact that there was a deposit to pay of
