Just back from a two week stay at this hotel. Found the cleanliness not to bad. Towels were changed if left on the floor of the bathroom. bedlinen was changed the first week but not the second.

The hotel food well what can i say? absolutely dreadful. the food served in the dining room was very german based, got to the stage you ended up going into the dinning area to rumage for scraps of food you could actually eat, although the only edible food actually served was the deserts.

The outside kiosks (snack bars)served considerably better food but you had to stand in a queue for a length of time,adults were limited to 2 meals per person and the children only one, which was not enough by anyones standards. All drinks were local standard drinks a.k.a watered down and un-drinkable, drinks were served in small cups and limited as the meals where.

The location of the hotel was on a steepe hill which is no good for elderly or infirm people and was set out far from anything, although there were a couple of local bars a bit further down, there was a free bus from the hotel that ran during the day to palma nova which was good for a day out from the bordem of the hotel.

The hotel staff were below average, kept to themselves and tried to resort from helping you in any way, even when you could get a hold of them they took there time at the task.

The enterainment during the day was well catered for the younger children and there was a few games for adults to take part in, the night time entertainment was a total let down as the shows were cheap rate and mostly the children up on stage making a fool out of themselves, outside there was no entertainment at either of the bars or the snack area's ( be advised to take board games or anything of the liking to keep urself amused, trust me its the only fun you'll have all holiday).

After those two weeks spent at belveder hotel , i would seriously consider never going near the place again, and would strongly advice any other holiday makers to resort to other hotels.

I have been to hotel Belvedere twice now and both times i had a great time. we had fresh towels and bedding every day, and everywhere else in the hotel was very clean. i thought the selection of food was brilliant and therewas something there for everyone. although the hotel is a bit out of the way of things there is a free bus ride to palma nova which has sops, bars and three wonderful beaches and the bus journey is as short as 15 mins, the hotel also provides alot of activities for both adults and children and the pool and the pool area are very clean and well looked after. the hotel staff were wonderful and very polite to everyone especially the bar staff who were very friendly and i really respected the entertainment staff as they work really hard all day long until 11/12 o'clock at night and put on a really good show everynight and included people from the audience both children and adults. although i have already visited this hotel twice i am hoping to go again either in a couple of months or the same time next year.
i would recomend this hotl to families and groups of friends who are looking for peaceful but entertaining and friendly holiday!!

i got back last night from a two week holiday in the lovley belvedere hotel. i thought the hotel was wonderful!! the location could have been better but there was so much to do at the hotel that we never went out of the destination anyway, apart from one time to do a little shopping in palma nova which we caught a free bus from the hotel.
the staff were wonderful and so kind! Vicki and Betta were wonderful with the kids! Cico was really funny and handled the activitys so well! Rosana was great at the aqua arobics and the aqua gym, and mickey was so nice although no-one got to see him as much as the other four!
the cleaners could have been nicer ! or at least said hello!!
another complaint was the lifts!! we were on the 8th floor and there were only 3 lifts, and the space was very squished up with a maxium of 6 people!
if i had the chance to go next year i definetly would!!!!!!!!

I had been on holiday truths about the hotel before I travelled and tried to cancel the holiday but I am glad I never. I have never been in a hotel so clean, the rooms were cleaned everyday with clean towels if needed. The staff were friendly and always pleased to help if needed. Betta and Vicky from the mini club were excellant with the kids and also made sure they joined in the daily activities, Chicco was the life and soul of the party from first thing on a morning to last thing on a night time. There were queues for the bar but what can you expect factory fortnight the staff worked hard making them not too long to stand in. The only problem we really found with the hotel was there were only three small lifts and with a pushchair this meant waiting some time for a lift we could fit into. I have no hesitation on going back next year and the only advice I can give is go on the holiday ignore the bad reports judge for yourself as if we had listened to the bad reports we would have missed out on the best holiday we have ever had.

The hotel was lovely & clean with the maids visiting your room daily to clean. Towels & bedding are changed 3 times a week.

The pool & outside bar area are also kept spotlessly clean (except the 3 days it rained during our stay it did go a little down hill!!) The food served outside is also excellent, I strongly recommend the pizza's, and the chicken. Personally I wasn't struck on the burgers/hotdogs but the kids loved them.

The freebie bus into Palma Nova is also a godsend as there isn't much in the way of shops in San Agustin itself, apart from the usual souvenier shops. The bus leaves the hotel on the hour, and half past the hour, and returns from Palma Nova quarter past & quarter to the hour, although this does slightly alter in the afternoon as the bus driver has his siesta!!!!

The entertainment sometimes left a bit to be desired. It was a group of 5 Italians, who put on various sketches, but with having to do things in so many languages, things sometimes were a bit drawn out.

Adults are allowed to get a maximum of 3 drinks per visit to the bar, and kids 1. Adults can also get a maximum of 2 meals per visit to the pizzeria, burger bar or the rotisserie chicken, and kids 1.

The bar staff are great when they fully understand what you are saying, but they are not shy with the measures in the spirit department!!!!

Although I thoroughly enjoyed the holiday, I wouldn't rush to go back there.

At the time that we left the hotel, it had been invaded by Italian tourists, and the foreigners far outnumbered the English during our stay.

We stayed here for two weeks in June 2004.
The hotel was very clean as the rooms were cleaned daily.
This was about the only good thing going for this hotel.

The food buffet was absolutey disgusting, with things like rabbit stew being served. I will eat most things but i really struggled here for the two weeks and found i was living on the chicken and pizzas being served by the pool outside during the day(as you could see these being cooked).
Be very careful if you try the fish it is full of bones and be very careful with the meat as you will find its hardly cooked or that it is reheated! All the food served is barely warm. We found alot of the english guests had complained like us to the rep about the food, he was trying to sort it out but it didn`t get any better!!!!!
They had trouble with sickness and upset stomachs the week previous to our stay here.

If you are looking for a quiet peaceful holiday do not come here it is full of kids running around screaming there heads off with all the entertainment aimed at them every night you will get bored very quickly.

Be prepared to queue for everything with beer being served in little plastic cups(1/3 Pint) you will get used to it!
The bar staff are very rude to the english they love the french germans and italians.
You will find less english people in this hotel and more of the french and germans who are just arrogant and will push in for anything you just get used to it and start doing it back to them.

Do not think you will get to the beach easy the road is deadly with no pavement and a sweeping bend we called it death valley, the beach is at the bottom of hundreds of steps and will take about 15 mins to get to but it is tiny and not worth it!
We just ended up going to palma nova beach it was alot better taxi costs 11 euros or get free bus if its not full!
After two weeks here i was glad to get home i have been away several times from 2star self catering to 5 star all inclusive and have never had such a bad holiday.
If you are reading this and are going to be staying here my advice to you would be to change the hotel.

The hotel was very clean on arrival and was kept this way during our visit. The food was diabolical with three people in our party being struck down with sickness for four days out of seven during our stay. Choice was limited and was usually undercooked lamb or veal stew, veal steaks, breaded veal, veal, veal oh and more veal.

The location was awful being stuck on a steep hill going down to the "resort" of San Agustin. It was a periless walk down a steep winding hill with no pavements.

The resort was dirty and the beach is best described as a sand pit. There was a bunch of flowers resting on a lamp post on the road suggesting someone had been killed recently walking down to the town.

The hotel staff were rude and completely disliked the English. There was not enough staff in the hotel at any time during our stay and we had to queue up for at least 10 mins at the snack bars around the pool for something to eat.

It was the same at the bars to get drinks which came in small plastic cups. The entertainment was ok but was repetitive and got a bit dragged out due to the many languages it was done in.

I would definitely not visit this hotel again and would strongly recommend any one who has booked a holiday here to change it sharply.

i was very impressed when i went to hotel belvedere. it was a great hotel and i thought that the only thing that i didnt like about it was the location. it is up a hill but it isnt a very big hill. at the top of the hill is a beach so it is worth the walk. there is a bus ride into palma and palmanova about twice a day. the hotel staff are very pleasant and welcoming. the entertainment at night was very good. it had entertainment for the adults and entertainment for the kids. my children (aged 12 and 7) had a fantastic time and said that they would love to go there again next year. the food is extremely nice but the que is about 5 minutes to get it. they have food for vegertarians and food for vegans. the towels in the hotel were changed regulary and the maids were very pleasant and knocked before they entered. in some other hotels that iv stayed in they have just walked in.

Just to say that this was our first time abroad, and it was our Honeymoon, and it was fantastic for the whole two weeks we were there.

The room was cleaned every day,and the cleaner was friendly. The food was good and my husband was the one that got me trying a bit of everything on offer (squid is great).

The location wasn't perfect because it was up on a hill and when we went for a walk down to the town, on our way back we wish we hadn't because my legs realy hurt.
Its very steep for people with knee problems.

The staff were fantastic though,and I spent the whole two weeks laughing at cico and miki the entertainers. And may I say that Rosanna and the rest of the girls are so energetic.

They started at ten and they never left the resort at night time till at least midnight. The entertainment was very good, even the performing parrots did well.

Can I also reccomend that people go to see 'Pirates' our Rep told us it was worth a visit so we went. We upgraded to top deck and it was fantastic.

Although I was embaressed when our Rep got us on stage to announce that it was our Honeymoon. I would certainly visit this hotel again.

Oh and you never know who you might see there, We both saw our friends from back home at the same hotel. Its a small world.

I stayed in the belvedere hotel at san agustin. clean and friendly. food really good.The entertainment was good by a team who worked hard all day long and who where friendly to every nationality. I went there last year with my daughter and could not believe my luck, so i just had to check it out again this year with my husband. The location isnt so good if you have small children and you want to go for a walk to the beach, but there is a free bus on to palma nova every 30minutes which is good, and it is only 12 euros in a taxi to magaluf.I will be going again but not at the begining of may as the weather let us down. The pool is clean and large and there have a childrens pool and a play area. There is three places to eat outside and no queues. You do not have to get up in the middle of the night to grab a sun bed either which is good because there is ample.In my view it was excellent and i enjoyed the way all nationalities got on.
