For once a holiday that was exactly as described in the brochure. Room was basic but no different t expected if you read the brochure.
The pools were lovely and clean although the large one a bit slippery as you entered. Not a problem as long as you were watching your kids!!!
Entertainment was just right,you were left alone if you did not want to be included but plenty to do day and night if you wanted to join in.
All the staff were fantastic and made the holiday enjoyable for us and particularly our little boy. Unfortunately he was too young for the kids club, which was really good according to all the kids and mums i spoke to.
The location was just right and what we expected from the brochure, a quiet resort with a few restaurants and shops. The bus service allowed us to access other areas close by and we found some fantastic places.
All in all a great base for a family holiday. We would not normally go to the same place twice but this would be a strong contender if we did.

This was the third time we have been to this hotel. the reson i keep coming back is because of the restaurant staff and Alberto!
The restaurant staff can speak really good English and they are really friendly, especially Emillio! Alberto has so much energy and is great at entertaining the children.
This was the first time in meeting the other entertainer Luca. She is so friendly and her and Alberto work really well together!
The entertainment was very funny, even better if you joined in with the fun! There was archery, pool, table tennis and loads more to do in the daytime so I was never bored, as there isn't much to do near the hotel so you had to get a bus everywhere but it didn't spoil my fun!
The apartment was cleaned everyday and the towels were changed every other day. The kitchen is basic but has everything you need.
I would definately visit this hotel again!

The cleanliness of the hotel was very good our cleaner Ester was very friendly even though she couldn't talk much English.
I really liked the bar staff all of them were very friendly and fun especially Emilio, Lucas, Veronica, Nacho, Marie, Carmen and Miguel.
The entertainers Alberto and Luca were very friendly in and out of the hotel, I still keep in touch with them now.
The only thing that could have been better was the location of the hotel but apart from that I loved the holiday and will definitely return next year!

We visited Sa Caleta apartments in September 2005 and had a great time.
We really liked the entertainers Alberto and Luca. The waiters were also great especially Lucas Lopez, Emilio and Veronica, they were extremely friendly.
It was not the best location to be staying in but was enough to keep us all happy.
The daytime activities that Alberto and Luca did were great fun and we really enjoyed them. The entertainers worked well together on the night time and were really good dancers, and we enjoyed Alberto's cha cha lessons and all the other dances he taught us. they were also not just friendly in work but friendly outside of work as well. By the way Alberto's got the cutest hair ever. If the entertainment wasn't enough then we would always go down to a pub called Onkawa- which was the best.

This holiday was so good that we are going back in July 2006. Even though some of the waiters and cleaners couldn't speak very clear English they still tried to have a proper conversation with us and we enjoyed their company.
The food in the Lord Nelson restaurant was really nice and so we ate there almost everyday.
We liked clown Ricky and Zenon the turtle who did the mini kids disco on the nights. We are coming back!!!

We stayed in a two bed apt, which was in front of the toddler pool and just across from the bar and restaurant. Having two pre school children this was perfect for us.
The food at the hotel was fantastic and we could eat in peace whilst the children enjoyed themselves, they had highchairs and even booster seats which were in excellent condition.
The staff were friendly, the entertainment was brilliant for small children and being a stones throw from a small beach cove was great.in the evenings our room was close enough to the bar to be able to come back change both babies into nightwear and warm their milk, they then used to fall asleep on the chairs while we had a drink!!! Perfect.
I would definitely go there again the sooner the better!!!!

Just arrived back yesterday had a fantastic holiday. The hotel was very clean and the staff were very helpful and friendly. The bar/resturant was very reasonably priced and the waiters were fantastic especially Emilio with his hula hula dance.
The kids club reps were brilliant loopy leanne and crazy cat. The all day entertainment was run by Alberto(bert) and Luca they were the best entertainers we have seen on a holiday there energy was brilliant.
The hotel atmosphere at night was brilliant you will really enjoy this holiday if you are a young family and up for a laugh.
We would definitely go back to the hotel. If you want to go it is Alberto's last season next year and it is must to see him so dont miss out.
We meet some lovely people here and would like to say hello to Stefan the great,Nigel,Scott,Michelle,Nikki and Aaron it wouldnt have been the same without you.

We stayed in the 2 bedroom apartments which was basically.
One bedroom apatments across the landing from one another so separate apartments,which meant my partner and I had to have separate apartments as could not leave 3 young children on there own in a apartment.
We assumed it meant a 2 bedroom apartment to cater for all 5 of us. This was not explained to us when we booked [so our own fault really]
Apartments are clean and basic but plenty of room we were lucky to have two balcony's per apartment, bed sheets and towels changed every other day.
Hotel staff friendly and kids reps work so hard our children enjoyed it.
Pools were fine with a splash pool for the younger children. A main pool shallow end and going deeper the further you go in, there is also a kids waterslide that goes in to a small square pool which is ok if you supervise your children.
Sun beds were a nightmare could never get a sunbed as people were spoiling it by getting up at the crack of dawn and reserving them with towels,then going off for hours and people were having to go without, so in the end the hotel staff were locking all the sunbeds up at night then unlocking them at around 8am, so that people who did want to use them could... rightly so too!!
Resttaurant was nice and food was fine but very busy the same with the bar area so at times we had a long wait really could do with more bar staff and with it being high season it got very busy.
The resort it self was kept clean and tidy, not much at all outside resort if you want to get out and about you would have to bus it or hire a car. only a couple of small local shops and 2 pubs and 2 places to eat,not much variety.

Had a great holiday, Alberto is mad though. Kids love him and I don't know where he gets his energy from.
Our little one loved the kids club run by Loopy Lianne and Hip Hop Hayley.
Our Apt was clean and plenty big enough, kitchen was OK for breakfast and doing snacks at lunchtime. But beware if you get allocated Apt C, you can hear when people go up the stairs and when the toilet is used. In reception it sounds like someone is trying to drill through the wall. Not sure if it was caused by the toilet being flushed and a tap being run.
Food in the restaurant was good but the service could be slow at times.
The reason I have said I would not go back is because I like to try different places and to date have never gone back to the same hotel.

Hotel in lovely location.
Pools overlooking beach. Exceptionally clean and well maintained.
Rooms basic but with everything you need.
All staff were wonderful. Especially in bar/restaurant and entertainment staff.
Alberto and Laura worked tirelessly to entertain all the children.
Great holiday had by all. Little ones especially. Will most definitely be going back again.
