Are the rounded 2 pin plug adaptors required for Egypt (as opposed to the flat 2 pin!)

Yes the rounded two pin plugs are correct.
We have just got back from Tropicana Nuweiba.

When you say two pin, is that the same type of plug used in Europe?

yes, that's right - they're the same as the European ones, so you can use the same adaptors for them

Pity the UK isn't like Egypt... two round pins take up less luggage space than those bulky three legged monsters ! :lol:

I got it totally wrong and took the two flat pin plugs. Luckily one had a two pin round head adaptor on it... :oops:
