We stayed pre cruise at the Marriott north Miami. The hotel and staff where wonderful. After our long flight we ordered food from the hotel menu. The food was first class, we also decided to take a stroll in the nature reserve at the side of the hotel which we enjoyed. The cruise on Radiance lived up to its name our first port of call was Columbia where we were delighted by the people of Columbia, we where entertained by dancers and was absolutely mesmerised by the way they danced. I have never seen anyone dance and move the way the women of Columbia move and doubt I will ever again. They couldn't just move they shook every part of their bodies and where also extremely beautiful. We have been to Brazil but they were not a patch on the Columbians. Everyone commented on how safe they felt in Columbia and how impressed they where and also commented on Columbia being the best port of call. This is where to purchase your emeralds! I will be booking another cruise that will be calling at Columbia in the near future. Ecuador was very pretty and also safe. I purchased a panama hat and a few woollen jumpers. In Peru we took an excursion to Lima the people where very friendly and we were not surrounded by people trying to sell to you. In Chile we just did our own thing as this is also a very safe country. Our transit through the panama canal was wonderful, we watched the lock gates operning and shuting, what a wonderful feat of engineering.
The ships entertainment was great the comendian had us crying with laughter. Patick Lopez the bartender had great card tricks that are not to be missed, he should be on the stage.
The food as always was 1st class, lots of choices of where you want to eat. My favioute was the seaview cafe, great food ,chef and staff.
The ship was very clean with no illnesses on board.
I would sail again on this ship. We had a good holiday and all the staff where wonderful

This is the 8th time I have sailed on Radiance, she is one of my favourite ships, actually I would say she IS my favourite!! The staff are super efficient and friendly, the captain is absolutely hilarious!! (he also captains the ship very well) very down to earth and the most passenger orientated master I have met on my 37 cruises with Royal Caribbean. I normally have a balcony cabin, but last cruise was lucky enough to be upgraded to an Owners Suite, what an experience!!! The ship was refurbished in January 2006 and is shortly {or maybe has now} to have new bedding in the cabins. The food is super, if folks do not feel like doing the formal nights, there is alternative dining in Portofinos, Italian themed and Chops a very good steakhouse. There is a small cover charge for these restaurants....well worth it!! If anyone has any questions they would like to ask, then please feel free to do so.

Travelled on the radiance which is part of the royal carribean fleetin 2004.We did the back to back carribean cruise, from the moment we stepped on the ship it was like being in a floating first class hotel. The cabins, the staff and the food!!!!!!!we are still trying to lopss the weight. The resturants(inc in the price) served everything from steak to lobster and they were flexible to your needs. The excesions were well planned and enjoyable, the on board entertainment was okish, more catered for the amercians though.

Radiance is a beautiful ship, when i walked onboard the wow factor hit me. I originally booked this for 2 people and within days we had a group of 18 people travelling with us. We booked 18 months in advance and were really excited about going - we were not disappointed!
Everything ran like clockwork, we did the Western Caribbean taking in Jamaica, Grand Cayman, Haiti and Cozumel in Mexico.
The food is amazing we were not disappointed, there's so much going on you could never be bored.
I will definately go on a Royal caribbean ship again. The service is out of this world.
