it is our 40th anniversary while in Lara Beach for 11 nights ,and i am going into Belek to a jewellers that i have purchased several items of gold before ,so i know it is good quality ,i wish to buy my wife a ruby ring, can anyone tell me the word for ruby in Turkish

SPHINXY i cannot help you with turkish translation but i am fairly sure that the shop in question has someone who speaks good english if not they will find some one who does as they do not like missing out on a sale

PS if you have internet explorer 8 as your web browser there is a translate button in the top menu and it said that " ruby is YAKUT " hope this helps, enjoy your holiday and anniversary

A bit off topic but........ looking for a name for our new house I put "home" into the translator and came up with the Turkish "evde"
as our names are Evelyn and Derrick it seems quite appropriate!
