We paid about €12 for a 70cl bottle of Bacardi in the supermarket. Metaxa 5 star is the same. wine is from about €3.50 a bottle. Don't know about beer, sorry. We went to western Crete though. It's less touristy. You could get wine from the barrel, 80cents for 500ml.

Thanks Jean. It seems around the same as this country. We might buy a bottle in the duty free to start us off.
