A lady travelling home alone with daughter from saffron court restaraunt in arpora back to MD and bag snatched from arm on motorbike.
This can and does happen world wide and not just in goa so take care of your bags and belongings ladies whilst out there.
At all time carry the bag to the INSIDE away from traffic and if travelling alone late at night then use taxis.
They are cheap and abundant so dont put yourself at risk
On a lighter note weather is fantasticly hot beer is chilled and restaraunts are as usuall superb.

Even without thinking about the missing bag and money, the experience itself is upsetting. We have been to several places where muggings are commonplace and I carry very little with me and wear no jewellery that even looks as if its worth money( usually). We've talked about what to do/ not to do if it happens to us but, even so, I just know it would be difficult to not let it taint my holiday.
