Ju33les put this info up several weeks ago, because friends of ours had told us when it was starting, (a cabaret duo who are being featured in it). Unfortunately, Dave had to lock the thread, because a couple of people decided to use it as an opportunity to slag our friends off - Julie had mentioned that it was Matthew and Son.

Several TV listings/forums websites suggest that it is a three part series, starting Wednesday 19 September at 10pm on ITV 1.

Can I just confirm please, this programme is nothing to do with another new programme, or is not in fact the same programme based on the old 'Wish You Were Here' ITV series?

Just been reading about this program and it really looks like they are taking the micky out of at least some of the people that are appearing in it. Do the people who are featured in this realize that the whole thing is a fun program to get people to laugh at them or were they conned into thinking it would be a "normal " documentary? Also featured is a very popular hotel that gets an outbreak of nits, imo no hotel would want that kind of publicity, anyway it will be interesting, just hope it doesn't show Benidorm and all the expats who live here in a bad light. 
Thought it was poor to be honest. Couldn't believe the comment from the guy who worked in the Ambassador when he said " Can't believe they sit by the pool all day" - If them people didn't he would be unemployed!

Did'nt really show it in a good light at all, just looked like lazy brits and young drunks
I did enjoy the program. But it didn't show Benidorm well at all.
I personally wouldn't want to stay in the Ambassador as it is way too central and noisy for (boring old) me. But it sort of slagged off people that do stay in their hotel which wasn't good for the hotels image.
