I am trying to book return flight for my Mum to America, Manchester-Chicago. Firstly I was wondering what sites are the best for prices and secondly she is elderly disabled and travelling on her own for the first time since she lost my Dad so I was wondering if there are companies that are more suited for her. I will be dropping her off at this end and her sister will be meeting her at the other end it is only the bit inbetween that worries me any suggestions would be appreciated
I tend to use http://www.airline-network.co.uk to get an idea of prices then check again on the airlines' own websites. I believe http://www.flybmi.com do Manchester to Chicago and also http://www.americanairlines.co.uk

My son flew to Chicago on good Friday with American Airlines as they were by far the cheapest.
After spending a lot of time and effort looking for the cheapest flights, I invariably find the best prices with Travelbag/Ebookers. You could try a comparison site such as http://www.dohop.com - there are others but can't think of the names at the moment.
