Goanne I have an e mail address of a taxi driver ...he brought a big jeep type car for us in november ....there were four of us and 4 big cases ..I too was worried that we would not all fit in ....but when I e mailed him I asked him for a bigger car and he turned up in a jeep ...........if you want the e mail address P/M me .....colleen

having the same problem for next year.
Noticed before that there are lots of taxis parked behind the coach pick up area but don't know if you can simply walk to them and get one.
The kiosk outside arrivals door seems only to have the micro buses, possibly worth asking there first.
Maybe a good reason for using the baggage porter, I'm sure that they can fix something up (just make sure of price before setting off)
Someone must use the other taxis, and I have noticed the Austin Ambassadors among them which will carry four with no problem.

Goanne / Del I have a number of a guy called Nilesh - he has two Qualis Jeeps, is a great driver and very reasonable. If you use him ask for the new red jeep - it's very comfortable.

I'm visiting varca beach next week and would love to spend some time at Mango House which is a run by a childrens charity. The house is just outside Calangute. Does anyone have any idea how far it is from Varca to Calangute and rougly how much it would cost by taxi please.
