The bier keller plays oompah music and is big on audience participation.

Bierkella is a fantasic night out for all ages if you can get into it. Its German Ommpahh on long tables serving 2 pint Stines of beer or cocktail.

Everybody ends up on the benches dancing and singing along having a great time, don't be surprised if you end up on the stage at some point with the band! :D Its definetly not for everybody but its also not just for the young, the fun and energic need only to apply! As they say on their leaflets, "Dress Code - We would prefer you were clothes!"

There are loads of traditional pubs in Bristol as well and the Marina front is very cosmopolitation with its multistory bars by the waterside. I recently moved to Bristol from London and haven't noticed much of a difference in prices at the bar so be prepared for that, the place suffers from been slightly over priced. Avoid BAR HA HA at the top of Park Street unless you want to go bankrupt (and wait an hour to get served!)

All in all though a good night, also a good place to go out eating the city centre has loads of resturants catering for all tastes and budgets.
