Have you booked yet?
The Cala Llonga Playa Apartments are in the Direct Holidays brochure, and the Panorama brochure shows the Cala Llonga Apartments - hard to tell from the pictures whether it's the same place or not, even the travel agent wasn't sure!! Panorama is cheaper so maybe we'll just bite the bullet and find out when we get there!
They are two different places. If you have a Direct Holidays brochure third edition go to page 123 and you'll see a picture of the beach, bottom right. Just on the bottom left hand corner you can see the name Llonga well the nga part of it. I believe that the Cala llonga apartments are above this shop. On page 122 the small map of the Cala Llonga area shows the location of the Cala Llonga Playa apartments which are a bit further along the beach from the Cala Llonga apartments.
Very little for kids in the resort. Nothing at all in the bars and restraunts except knock drinks over.
Compare that to San An Bay where virtually every bar has a play area of some description.
Not sure how it is classed as a family resort other than it's got a shallow bay. Definitley suited for the older generation.
See my review in the Hotel and resort reviews.
Thanks Colinwez and allmen for keeping me right, now I know which is which! Planning to visit 3rd week in July for 2 weeks so will give it some thought and book one or the other this week!
