we have recently stayed in the travelodge in the cambridge area and am totally disappointed.

we arrived late, and we were not able to even get access to the hotel for about 15 minutes. there was a gentleman sitting at the desk, but we could not get his attention. (i think he must have been asleep). when we finally did get in, we find that the gentleman could not even communicate with us as he did not speak english! nor did we get any kind of apology for having had to wait.

we were astounded that this person could have been sleeping on the job. (is this common?)

we were going to complain the following morning about this, but when we went to reception, we were greeted with yet another person that did not have a very good command of the language.

i would definately go elsewhere.
