The Holiday village in Sharm is brilliant for kids but to be honest i imagine all big hotels would be good...we're going back to the HV on Nov 3RD :tup... never been in August though , only OCT/NOV ....weather might be too hot for small kids at the height of summer

Many of the larger hotels have good facilities for children including nice pools and play areas, as spurry mentions the HV is very well suited towards children, I can also recommend the Sonesta Club which is IMO more suited to children than the Sonesta Beach. http://travel.webshots.com/slideshow/562327695PjcSAV
