Have a good and safe trip, and see you at the Aida

Just back at 5am this morning!! Had a great 2 weeks holidays. Not perfect and there were a few wee things that annoyed us but nothing big enough to have to write them down. Hotel clean and lovely with great pillows. Staff excellent in all areas - reception, shop and bar. We were worried about the depth of the big pool but once you get your bearings it is great. Full pool used so there isnt the big crush of lilos at the deep end. Problem with slide pool yesterday and they closed it off and drained it - bit of a shame as my kids loved it but better to be safe.

We got our photos taken at the hotel and they are fabulous - we have ended up with a gorgeous leather album, all the small pics (86 of them) one big pic 4 keyrings and a cd with all the pics on it (and it works cos I have checked already). Kept meaning to do it at home but Hubby didnt fancy it - never complained on holiday though.

We booked all our trips from Edy (shop just off beach). Reps warned against it but we paid a deposit and settled full amount as each trip came round. never let us down once and we had the best time - much cheaper. Jeep safari an absolute hoot - made some good friends that day.

Hope you don't mind me asking but how much did you pay for the photos Katwin? We had some done last year at Club Candan and they were great, but we only got the CD because we were friendly with the photographer, and the prices were very negotiable, we bargained them down. Can't remember how much we paid but would like some more done this year and hoping to haggle.

we also bought the photos on cd from club candan last year i think we paid about £20

You did good! Some other guests were asking for the CD and they flatly refused to sell it to them! We got the whole leather album, about 10 extra prints to frame, and the CD. I think we paid £70-£80 but can't remember.

hi all, just back this morning....club aida is fantastic.
we didnt have any problems with anything at all. Rooms are great, staff are great everything is just great apart from the day you go home....we have two young children who made lots of friends. Really cant fault anything at all .
As a previous post said there was a problem with the slide splash pool but this was drained on the evening and was back in action the next day, slides open 11 till 1 and 3 till 5 and are supervised. Pool is deep but armbands or some sort of boyoncy aid for kids and they will be fine. kids pool only 0.4m deep so very shallow and warm, when slides not in use you can use splash pool which is 1.1m deep perfect.
Card system works very well too.

Like you said couldn't fault anything at all, one of the best hols i've had.

Missing the Big Splash game, Mike needs another hol to get over it !!

Food excellent and very good value , beer cheaper than the uk and to top it off the friendliest staff you could ever meet.
Only complaint is my kidneys ache after spending most of my evenings in the company of Nikinokie , Russ and the lightweight

Jim ,Claire, sophie thanks for your great company of an evening (very funny jim )hope your liver is better soon , Rachael keeps aking when she is going to see you again chirs weaving and his wife and kids too , it was nice to meet you aswell. thankyou for coming to wave us off really nice of you great staff too , very friendly and helpful. shaggy was just brill with my daughter she cant wait to see him again.

I came back on the 14th of july.. the best holiday ever. the hotel was the nicest hotel i have ever stayed in, wether or not it is because it is new i dont know, but i liked it all the same, i will be back.
they move the towels from sunloungers if they are left for more than an hour after 10 am.. i saw that happen a couple of times.
Staff were friendly, had some fun playing the games room staff at pool..
Reception staff were ok, though a couple of them were quite rude sometimes.
The night entertainment was so good! the breakdancers especially.. not so impressed with the kids magician, he ate razorblades on stage.. not appropriate.. but apart from that.. best holiday.

Anyone know when the customer photo gallery will be working on the club aida website?
Doesnt seem to be working at the mo.
Have a nice holiday to those waiting to go, im sure you'll enjoy it.. Check out the Water park up the hill.. its amazing!

Hi all, had a really great time at club Aida, could not fault anything and would go back at a drop of a hat.

All 5 of us had the most wonderful time, and met some of the nicest people while their, sorry i never got to meet up with some of you from the site, but we did meet up with curleyblondes gang, shame it was just for the last 4 days of the trip, but lovely to have met you still, and posted cards to your family soon as we got home

I will have to remember to have a packet of tissues next time we leave, as Jennifer and Lorren had tears rolling down the faces. thanks Club Aida for a most happy holiday.

Hi we were there from 7-21 July. Had a fab holiday. Thought the hotel was really nice and most of the staff were too. Entertainment was a bit of a let down though. Shaggy and Sergio did a great job but considering Oscar is meant to be the manager he did nothing. Definitely let his team down. Did you enjoy yourself?

Sorry not got back to you before now - probably too late to be of any use to you. we paid £100 for our photos. We were happy with the price as we go the CD, one big print, all of the wee pictures, 4 keyrings and the 20 pics in a lovely album. The quality of the pics was great and the CD works at home so been able to share some really nice photos with family at honme and away.

Yes, had a great time, and met some great people, yes i agree, the entertainment wasnt that great, but i did enjoy the breakdancing shows.
I liked the games room staff, enjoyed playing pool with one of them, really friendly.
Not too sure about some of the Reception staff.
The pay TV was terrible, you got it for about an hour a day and when we approached the manager about it she baisically said we were lying.
But, we had a fab holiday, i hope to go back soon!
