Am booked to fly to Bulgaria via Prague with Czech Airlines from Manchester. Has anyone any experience of them?
Regards
Craine
I've never flown with them myself, but they normally use a Boeing 737-500 on this route. This one in fact!

I've flown with them to prague before and they were fine. Right on time both ways, loads of legroom and very nice cabin crew. Food though is pretty horrid (bread with ham and a blob of mayo both ways) so take a snack of your own.
I have flown with them to Prague on a number of occassions. Always on time but as previously posted the food is very Czech.
Prague aiprot is Ok with plenty of shops, a casino, a waiter service restaurant and a large self-service restaurant which is good and quite cheap - for an airport.

Czech Airlines is looking at launching direct flights to PRG from Newcastle and Bristol, in addition to the current UK flights.
They are also looking at launching flights from Scotland to Baltic States ie Latvia, Estonia etc. They have already launched flights from Riga to Rome. These flights will be direct and not via PRG.
Good news i think.

Have they pulled out of Edinburgh and if so when? I tried to look for flights of August and was unsuccessful
Jade ... is this the Edinburgh/Prague service ? If so, I think Czech Airlines pulled out of that route last November, and Jet2 moved in.

Yeah I also thought that Czech airlines had pulled EDI after they had pulled GLA - probably due to low pax figures as FlyGlobespan were in competition....cant remember if GSM still have a PRG-EDI route tho' - maybe thats why Jet2 have filled the gap?
