How frustrating do you think it is to book a holiday in Pernera on Saturday and see it come down twice in 3 days, and is now £60 cheaper for the two of us?
I'm normally pretty good as sussing the best time to jump in, but I've messed up this time!
Don't think I'll check again - they'd be paying us to go in a fortnight!

As I told Mrs Ask last year who was doing the same thing (looking after booking)... it might be that we waited and then ended up not getting anything or it going up in price, at least you know its booked, so stop worrying about it..!

i do this every year baggieboy i think its all part of the fun!!! ours has gone down by £20.00 but when you go through to the booking stage they only have vacancies for two people not four!!! so i feel a bit better now.

I'm in the same boat mate, I have 2 weeks space booked off at work, (start of Sept) but only have 7 days holiday to take so I can try and get the best late deal if you see what I mean.
At the moment most deals are still coming in at over £300 per person
We are really trying to get to Protaras but won't be held to Ransom and would go to Greece/Turkey/Spain for peanuts if it comes to it.
I'll hope to book something on teh Aug BH or just after and see what the prices are doing then !

Have u tried lookin on teletext we got a good deal - i know we going end of september and its a bit cheaper but we have priced the same holiday through thomsons and its nearly 200 more each per person
Saying that though we are flying with Flyjet who seem to be the worst company in the world so we might get there that day of later ha ha

Yes Jo, I even looked at teh teletext the other night as oppose to the website.
It did give me a couple of other last minute sites to look at, but when you add the airport taxes etc and then under occupancy on, they are coming in at over £600 for 2, or in teh odd case about £570

Yeah we have paid 275 each
thats with transfers and in flight meals (for what they are worth) we dont usually bother with

Im the same like keep checking - we keep checking the flights and they all seem to be delayed so we might take a sleep bag to manchester airport just in case

I booked my holiday to Paphos on New Years Day, so everyday im checking to see if we got the best price, upto now we have!! Just checked it before and its £200 more per person than what we payed in January. Couldnt believe it!!
I'm going to kill you lot !!! Just been and checked my flight only to Faro and it's down by £100 for the 2 of us. Usually the flight only's go up but obviously not this time

I'd check this if you haven't heard from them already as Flyjet have gone out of business this week
