Hi
Has anyone done the day trip from Marmaris to Rhodes? If so is it worth doing - worth the money etc. is there much to see/do when you get there?
thanks
Jacki
Rhodes Town is beautiful and is always worth seeing. It is centred around the knights of St John and is full of shops and restaurants plus the Castle, the walled moat, The Nea Agora market, the beautiful Harbours and the Museum. I could go on for ages. (It is the umbrella capital of the World for some reason ... I can think of at least 4 umbrella shops!)
The Marmaris Express catamaran is the fastest way of getting there but whether it is worth the fare for a 6 hour visit, I don't know. €50 adult, €32.50 for children, including port taxes for a one day return ticket. The trip takes 1 hour each way.
