Hi
Can anyone tell me if there are any good hotels/apartments in the area of Farragudo. We will be going with 2 children aged 4 and 11. If there are no hotelsapartments in this village can you tell me the nearest town to there please. Also one last thing is Carvoiero nearby.

It's spelled Ferragudo by the way!
The city of Portimao is just across the river, but there is no ferry and with the old bridge still closed for repairs it's either a one-mile walk or a 5 mile bus ride or drive.
Also, Carvoeiro is nearer six miles than three, as the road doesn't exactly go in a straight line. A pretty difficult journey without a car as well.

The old bridge will open on the end of May / beggining of June, I think.
