Hi T O T T
We have been going to Cyprus for 20years but have never stayed in a hotel but feel you need some help so are going to try.
Paphos in our opinion is the best part of the island (west) we will name a couple of hotels and you could look them up on the internet and examine them more closely, they are the Annabelle Hotel and Alexander the Great. Nearly all the bars and restaurants have wheelchair access and the Cypriot people are amazingly helpful so would go out of their to help you. You are right in the middle of things, near the front, shops, bars, etc.
Hope this helps you a little, best of luck!

Depends on how much you want to spend on your accommodation I suppose especially if you're looking at the likes of the Annabelle and Alexander the Great. Although, Mercury Direct are now using the Annabelle at the moment.

Last November we went and stayed just one night at the Dionysos Central hotel which is even closer to the promenade and seafront. Certainly, the Deluxe rooms have the facilities you require regarding the shower. All very modern with the "rain" style showers and are completely walk in.

It's very flat along the promenade all the way to the harbour.

This is immediately outside of the hotel entrance. Where you see the palm trees at the end, that's the promenade:

There are some small steps at the main entrance but if I recall there is access directly from the car park which is just a little way past the steps you see on the main photo on the website. However, I'm not certain about ramps etc into and inside the hotel but their website is here:

Also the Thomson Gold hotel in Ayia Napa - the Tasia Maris has walk in showers too and is Adult Only. It's in a flat position and away from the hubub of "the Square" where all the nightclubs and rowdy bars are. Close to Sandy Bay beach (a ramp exit is out the back) and the pool has a walk-in slope at one side.

The hand railings you see here in this photo are where the slope into the pool is:

Hi TOTT. I've only been to Cyprus once so far (last summer), and our hotel would not be suitable for your needs. However, if you take a look at the Cyprus hotels here:- http://www.besthotelinfo.com
you will be able to check for all the variables you need. I know it doesn't cover every hotel, but the information is not a reviewer's opinion, but simply a statement of fact e.g. how deep is the pool, are there ramps for the mobility challenged, and so on, as well as photos & videos
