Can someone please give me an idea of how much spending money I would need per day for food (your average places - nothing fancy) and a few drinks (say 4).
I'm off to NY for the first time and I know its expensive but just looking for an indication of how much I would need for the basics. I'll be there for 5 days.
myvot - such a general question to be honest, it really depends on where you eat. You could probably do it for less than £25, but I'd say £35-45 will get you eating reasonably a couple of times a day with some drinks.
