i have been having this recurring nightmare for some time now which finds me sat with my back to a fishing boat aptly named sunshine looking out at the arabian sea catching the odd dolphin or two flipping in and out of the waves,in my left hand i am holding a glass bottle with the contents of ice cold limca making the goan straw gently bob up and down.it is here where the dream starts to get frightning you see i have the time it takes me to get to my feet and trudge the 50 yards or so through white hot powdery sand to the sanctuary of my chosen beach shack to make my mind up on what to ask the wonderfully friendly hosts to eat,you see i can never make my mind up whether or not to ask for the chillie fry or should i be a little more conservative and plump for the pomfret,i could be more adventurous and try shark or shall i just ask for my usual butter chicken,i need to make sure that whatever i choose i leave room for the one thing i do know i will be having and thats the banana pancake anyway after some deliberating and finally opting for for the king sized prawns and a cold kingfisher i start to worry about where im going to dine in the evening so with all this stress i turn to my old friend mr fenni,three or five glasses later and some idle chit chat with other tourists i decide to ask for my bill to my horror i calculate from rupees to sterling that they are trying to charge me almost £6.25 sterling,now im not tight but i had exactly the same meal like for like three days ago at another shack and they were 40 rupees cheaper [/b]
