Help Required...Quick !!!

Hi all

Travel to India next Saturday....spoke to two people last night who go to Goa soon...they asked if ive registered my passport with travel agent

First of all.....what is he talking about......and secondly, i this will be our 26th visit to India and ive never "Registered" my passport with anyone....PLEASE HELP...

Hi Noggin,
your friend may be talking about the advanced passenger information (API) where your passport details have to be given to the airline you are flying with.

Hi Squigs...we are flying with Jet Airways..Manchester to Brussels then onto Mumbai again with Jet Airways....

if you booked through a travel agents you could give the information to them or you could phone the airline direct.

I flew with Jet last December and no-one asked for passport to pre-register it, either Southall Travel or Jet. W wouldn't worry too much about it.

I would make a call asap to double check, for the 2nd year now with Jewel in the Crown we have had to e-mail them this info (fly with Monarch).

We are flying BA to Mumbai and had to fill in API on line

been to egypt tunsisa domanican rep and each time had to do a API its easy to do on computer we do it threw thomas cook web page

Went to Goa in January,JITC flying with Monarch and had to do API. I just emailed all the details to JITC and asked for email confirmation that they had received them,which they did within 1 hour.

We are flying with Thomsons next month, Qatar and Emirates last year and no one ever asked for this information :que

Hi Noggin if you havent got it sorted, you should be able to go onto Jet Airways web site put in your booking Ref then add your API ,I think it says if you cant do this, it can be done at booking desk good luck

Hi l just booked this morning to come to Goa on the 26th February and thety took all our passport details, we are flying with Monarch.

As RJL said, you should be able to enter your booking reference on the Jet Airlines website and then put in your API. We did this last year and had no probs. Hope you get sorted.

Ive been in contact with Jet Airways, and they took our details over the phone....Easy.
But i have Emailed the company i booked the flights through, asking why they did not inform me of these requirments :que
