How many bikinis?

For the past few years I've had week long holidays and take about 3 bikinis with me, however this year going for a fortnight and not sure how many to take. Just wondered what's the norm? (One friend told me that she once took 14 bikinis away for a fortnight in Egypt!! Definately not the norm!)

For 2 weeks, 5 should be enough... assuming you are not going to be poolside for every day!!!!
2 or 3 is fine... i wash mine through with travel wash every evening anyway cos they get yucky with that nice mix of suncream, sweat, sand and salt etc!! It's really just a case of having a few you can wear when the others are drying for me... not much room in 20kgs luggage

Well we are going on a beach holiday in the carribean so I dare say I will be wearing swim stuff everyday - but yes the travel wash is a good idea so I can rinse them out then alternate.
mmm.... all depends on wether you go topless or not. I don't (fried eggs on an ironing board ! ) so I have to be carefull with strap marks, I once made a huge mistake of wearing a fancy bikini with ring things for straps on my first day, oh my god ! what a mess ! I burnt where the ring things were and couldn't get rid of the circles all fortnight ! hubby laughed his self silly while I sulked.

Well i usually take a different one for each day of my hols...... I THINK I'm normal! Not sure hubby agrees LOL Denny
Ah yes good point about the strap mark thing - I do normally go topless (after waiting a day or 2 to check I won't be the only one with my boobs out!) I normally put the top back on though to walk along the beach etc. Even bikini bottoms can alter so much in size and style though so I'll make a note to buy the same sort of style but in different colours!
I'd normally take about 5 for a fortnight, but then as I too wash mine out with travel wash, I always seem to favour a couple anyway. 
Sorry to say... I take loads... took 12 last year to tenerife for a week!
Must say I only wore about 5 of them but I like to have a choice and if I'm having a really bad stomach day can opt for a bigger one to cover it up!!
What can you do... primark sells them so cheaply I can resist everytime I go in there!

I have 4 weeks away, and take 7 bikini's/tankini's. I would like to take more, but don't have the room in my case. They have to be new ones every year though. Thank God for Primark and Asda!!!
I take around 6-7 for a fortmight. My sis takes more than 14 and sometimes wears more than one a day
My bikinis normally consist of about 2 new ones every year (so throw 2 of the oldest away). I also have 1st week bikinis and 2nd week bikinis (higher waisted for 2nd week, when I'll have stuffed myself with food and drink)

I tend to wear darker ones in the first week then nice bright/light ones in the second week when I am getting some colour.
I take about 6 I suppose. I basically throw them all in so sometimes more than that. I do tend to have my favourites though and after a few days I'm usually rotating 2 or 3.
Such small pieces of wear but amazing how when you try them on they can still either look good, okay or rubbish.

I'm quite naughty, I take about 20 - for a fortnight, I like to have a choice, wear a different one each day and like to be coordinated, terrible I know. And if all inclusive some might be a little tight the second week, so I have a choice (as you know sizes differ).

I only take 2 or 3 for a fortnight because in all honesty with all my lumps, bumps and big boobs I find it so hard to find anything that fits me well and straps it all in that when I do I wear it to death and wash them in the shower with me of an evening .Wish I was 18 again and could just go into primark and pick out 10 skimpy bikinis .

thats as may be but to me its still vanity not nassesaty... coming home 14 bikinis =400 fags aprox
